Newlight's co-founders, Haran and Evyatar, started their journey together almost 10 years ago in the navy. As former naval officers, they not only share a profound respect for the sea but also a vision for a more sustainable future.
With their vast experience in the maritime world, encompassing ship's engines, technical issues, and the integration of new technologies in the navy, Haran and Evyatar delved into research together on how to make the shipping industry more sustainable.
